He Trusted the Astrologer, So I Left with His Heir

A mafia wife escapes a murder plot, builds her own empire, and finds new love.

Fiona Hughes dedicated her life to mafia heir Chase Dalton from youth through marriage, managing crises and expanding his family's power. Pregnancy shattered her devotion when she overheard Chase and his closest friend Mia Thorne conspiring to kill her and claim the baby. Recognizing her sacrifices had only fueled their ambition, Fiona signed divorce papers and vanished. Leveraging the network and resources she had cultivated independently, she established a competing faction that systematically stripped Chase of his authority, ultimately positioning herself as the new heiress alongside her childhood friend Evan Walker.
