The Mortal Bastard is The Supreme God

A prophesied son survives execution and returns decades later for vengeance.

A prophecy warning that his newborn son Leon will kill him drives Zeus to order the infant's execution. The child escapes death only through the intervention of his mother and the master Chiron, disappearing into hiding while the god king assumes the danger has passed. Two decades of silence shatter when Leon reappears as a grown man, his survival unknown to the throne that condemned him. He steps forward now fueled by a vendetta against the father who marked him for death before his first breath.
