While I Waited, He Built Another Family

Wife framed as insane by husband and best friend, who raise a toddler son while she's drugged.

After her father's suspicious crash death, Chloe faints at the funeral and wakes in a psychiatric ward, committed by husband Liam and best friend Mia on false insanity claims. For two years she endures forced hallucinogenic drugs until Liam brings her home, pretending devotion. One night she catches them together with a two-year-old son, proof of their long affair. Chloe hides her rage, feigns continued illness, and with secret aid from Dr. Noah — a psychiatrist her father funded — stops the medication and begins plotting escape while retrieving the evidence her father concealed before dying.
