Mad in the Horde

Gamer becomes expendable character, fights zombies and betrayal.

During an eight-win streak finale, a flashbang blinds a top-ranked player into the body of his namesake — a disposable character locked outside an armored transport while Tier Six zombies close in. The original host's wife and her lover livestream the scene, denying rescue to secure inner-city status. Refusing the scripted death, the intruder uses competitive instincts to grab a high-frequency concussion grenade, smash the vehicle's ventilation valve, and hurl the device inside, redirecting the horde.
