You'll Regret Cheating on a Superhero

Hero betrays hidden wife; she returns as first female superhero.

At the height of his fame, celebrity superhero Bryan abandons his gravely injured wife Rachel in an explosion to secure a publicity win, ending their concealed five-year marriage that cost her career. Presumed dead, Rachel is seized by Vought and subjected to the torturous Aurora Project, a genetic rewriting initiative that erases her past self through agony. She emerges reborn as Lumina, the world's first female superhero, having deliberately obliterated every trace of her former identity. All Bryan possesses now is a death certificate while the woman he discarded soars above him.
