Forged in Betrayal: The Spear of Vengeance

A former marshal faces divorce from his pregnant warrior wife, who mistakes him for a weak scholar.

Hector Zane gave up his role as Grand Marshal to marry Sierra Steele under his parents’ arrangement, presenting her with the Ruby Spear before she went to war. When she returns in silver armor, visibly pregnant and accompanied by another man, she brings divorce papers. She insists her husband must be a mighty hero, not a weak scholar, unaware of his past command.
