Death Answers to Me (DUBBED)

An immortal death-warden is cast out by her employers moments before a rival clan demands her aid.

Nina Bale commands authority over life and death, yet the Ford family regards her as disposable now that their year-long pact has lapsed. Their patriarch once severed a vital geomantic vein, dooming his lineage, and traded his own existence to secure Nina's shield. With the bargain fulfilled, the Fords move to eject her. Their dismissal halts abruptly when the formidable Cork dynasty appears at their threshold, kneeling in desperation. The Cork patriarch hovers near death, and only Nina's power can pull him back. Caught between a family that no longer wants her and a rival house that desperately does, she must decide where her obligation truly lies as the clock ticks on a fading life.
