Satan and His Little Believer

Orphan's typo summons Satan, who protects and adopts her with a one-headed Cerberus.

Six-year-old Poppy, orphaned and bullied, accidentally addresses her Christmas letter to Satan. The Devil dispatches Cerberus — reduced to one head with a red bow — as her guardian. The hellhound, renamed Pippy, speaks to her and drives off a home intruder. When school tormentors escalate, Satan manifests as a giant shadow to scatter them, violating infernal law and suffering black lightning wounds. He later appears as Lucifer Morningstar to adopt Poppy before an orphanage can take her. On Christmas, he storms Heaven, scorched by holy light, to retrieve her parents' souls for a final goodbye.
