The High-Society Wife in Workwear

A mechanic trades grease for gala to reclaim her mother's garage and uncover a crash conspiracy.

Auto mechanic Maya discovers she is the secret daughter of tycoon Conrad West and is summoned to replace his adopted daughter in an engagement to Julian Hart. They agree to a one-year sham: Maya needs Hart influence to win back the South Bank garage stolen from her mother Evelyn, while Julian uses the betrothal as cover to investigate the suspicious car wreck that killed his relatives. At glittering events and gritty workshops, Maya applies her mechanical genius to expose traps set by antagonists in both families, including a frame-up by her uncle Derek. Their probe gradually reveals the truth behind her mother's fatal crash and the asset seizure.
