Fake Play

Doctor fakes romance with rival QB to expose a doping frame-up.

Team doctor Chloe Hayes sacrifices medical school for boyfriend Ryan Cole, only to be publicly humiliated when he kisses her roommate and mocks her role signing off on his recovery shots. Locked out and soaked, she accepts an offer from Jake Walker, the team's bad boy and Ryan's sworn enemy, to pose as his girlfriend through the playoffs. Their staged relationship escalates from a heartbeat check in front of the squad to a televised kiss after a brutal hit, all while sharing a hotel room with Ryan listening through the wall. The act becomes dangerous when Chloe discovers the shots she authorized were banned substances, and Ryan conspires with the head physio to falsify records pinning the crime on her. With her career collapsing and their contract exposed, Chloe must prove the truth herself and decide whether Jake's feelings were ever real.
